Thom Says: March

Believe it or not, March is here. And while we are currently having another March snowstorm, the weather will be turning mild this month! As the weather turns more and more mild our crews in turn get busier and busier! March is a month of natural inspiration for spring, summer and warmer nights. And with warmer days calling us to explore Longwood Gardens and the Philadelphia Flower Show our creative juices are definitely going and we are starting to dream!

Thom our expert horticulturist knows that we will be thinking ahead this month.

This month Thom says 2 things:

1. We need to use more color

Thom also says that we need to use more color (annuals) Embrace the annuals for color! Use more color!

2. Bring your ideas to us early

Thom says to bring your ideas to us early so that we can plan ahead for your gardens, containers and pots.
When you’re out and gathering inspiration, take notes! Take pictures! And send them over to us and get the conversation started early and Thom can order the plants before they are out of stock later in the season.
