Well depending on what camp you’re in, "Fall Back” is either one of your favorite or least favorite days of the year. But whatever camp you’re in, it certainly marks as a transition into winter!

Winter prep

Prep any plants or trees for winter weather

It is time to put up any deer fencing etc.

Plant spring bulbs

Now is the time to plan for spring! Get those tulips dandelions etc bulbs into the ground now and reap your reward this spring!

Water feature prep

Freezing temperature are approaching so it is time to winterize, drain etc your water features.

Adjust timers

With the time change it is time to adjust your lighting timers! The sun will be rising and setting an hour earlier. The days are continuing to get shorter as well so your lighting will need to be adjusted accordingly

Irrigation winterization

Make sure any irrigation lines are insulated and drained

Fall decorations

Take down the jack-o-lanterns, but leave the pumpkins! For November add some gourds and mums for a more November feeling.
